Terms & Conditions
These terms are part of the agreement you enter into with Fjellfarer AS upon registration to one of our tours or events. When booking a tour, event or accommodation from us and by using our website, you confirm that you have read and accepted our terms and conditions.
BOOKING
Booking is done through our website, e-mail, telephone or through other outlets (including hotel reception, travel agency or third party website where our products can order). When registering on behalf of several participants, you are responsible for communicating terms and conditions to each participant and is responsible for payment. You must be over 18 years to make a booking.
PAYMENT TERMS
Day Trips
For day trip activities, the full amount must be paid at the time of booking. Invoice is sent on e-mail from us.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Valid for: Messa
• The cancellation fee of 100.0% will be charged if the cancellation is made 3 day (s) or later before the check-in
• The cancellation fee of 50.0% will be charged if the cancellation is made 7 day (s) or later before the check-in
• The 0.0% cancellation fee will be charged if the cancellation occurs 21 day (s) or later before the check-in
CANCELLATION & REFUND
Cancellation from you must be done by mail. Cancellation date/time is the date/time when you sent email to us
Customer cancellation – Day trips
• Cancellation 7 days or more before the tour starts: you will receive a full refund from us.
• Cancellation 3 – 7 days before the tour starts: you get a 50% refund from us.
• Cancellation less than 2 days (48 hours) before the tour starts: you will receive no refund from us
No-show / no attendance
If you do not show up at the scheduled time and place on the tour you have booked, no refund will be given. This also applies if you show up late, without notice (and have been accepted by us for delay).
Reduction in the number of participants
• Reduction of up to 20% of booked number 15 – 30 days before arrival can be done without financial consequences for the client.
• Reduction of up to 10% of booked number 14 – 7 days before arrival can be done without financial consequences for the client.
• If reduction of booked number later than 7 days before arrival, pay for original order (possibly according to adjustments in line with previous points).
Cancellation and changes made by us
It does happen that we have to cancel or make changes to our tours and events like is due to circumstances beyond our control. If that happens, we are obliged to notify you as soon as possible. We will then do what we can to offer an alternative offer in the same time period as possible is compared to what you ordered – by appointment. You then pay for what remains completed. If we cannot offer an alternative arrangement, you will be refunded amount.
Examples of conditions that may require cancellation or changes from us:
• Too few participants
For most trips, a minimum number of participants is set. If the minimum number of participants for
If a trip is not reached we will have the opportunity to cancel the trip. You can then choose to change the date of the trip or get a full refund from us on the amount paid.
• Weather and driving conditions
In bad weather or bad conditions on the planned trip, we will be able to change and cancel a trip.
• Illness, injury or damage to the guide/tour guide
Tour guides and guides can get sick and injured, if this happens on a tour you booked we will do what we can to get a deputy with similar expertise. If we don’t manage to complete the scheduled tour due to illness or injury the guide/tour guide will you will be refunded the full amount paid.
• Force majeure
In events outside our dominion such as fire, extreme weather, natural disaster etc. we have the right to terminate the agreement without liability.

We do not collect any personally identifiable information about you. When you use the app, a unique ID is generated for you.

We do not collect information about you as a user from other sources.

We use your information to collect clicks and anonymized tracking information, such as when you click to listen to one of the podcasts in the app.
How long do we keep the information about you?
We do not store any information about you, or that can be traced back to you.
Do we share your personal information with others?
We do not share personal information with partners. Only anonymous clicks are shared with partners.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITY
You are obliged to familiarize yourself with our conditions, the descriptions of each trip and arrangement.
Obligation to inform about own health and conditions
You are obliged to ensure that you have the conditions for participating in our tours. Participants must inform us/guide/tour leader about health conditions, illnesses or afflictions that may affect your own and others’ safety during the trip.
Obligation to follow directions given by guide / tour leader / event manager
The overall responsibility for the safety of our tours is taken care of by the guide/tour guide. So that this should be able to safeguard the security of tours under our auspices you commit to following all directions given by us and/or guide and tour guide.
ACCEPTED BY RISK
Participation in our trips may involve accidents and injuries. We work systematically to minimize risk, but there will always be a risk of accident when one participates in tours and events. As a participant on a trip with Fjellfarer, you must be aware and accept this potential risk. By purchasing our services you accept this risk. We do not assume any financial obligations as a result of damage caused by participants, their actions or for reasons beyond our control (Force majeure) unless the accident or accident is due to gross negligence on our part or the guide.
INSURANCE
Insurance for each participant is not included in our tours and events. Travel insurance and cancellation insurance We do not offer cancellation protection, travel or accident insurance on our tours and arrangement. We recommend that you as a participant provide for your own travel and travel accident insurance and checks to see if these cover the activity you are participating in. We recommend to check if your insurance also has cancellation protection that covers your expenses items if you are prevented from showing up.
Liability
We have liability insurance that covers claims against us in the event of an accident.
COMPLAINTS AND DEADLINE
Complaints about any defects in our services must be communicated to us immediately, guide or tour guide. Otherwise, you lose the right to complain. By the way, the complaint must be submitted in writing no later than 15 days after returning home for special reasons reasonable to extend the time limit for complaints.

What information do we collect about you?
Your name, postcode, post office, phone number and email address and booking information, eg which tour or event you want to attend.
How do we collect information about you?
We get information directly from you when you want offers and information on a trip or event or when you have registered yourself as a recipient of our newsletter. All information is provided voluntarily by you either by e-mail, forms on our website or by telephone. We do not collect information about you as a user from other sources.
Why do we collect information about you?
We use your information to perform the services you have asked us to help you. We also use the information to send you newsletters with notice and information about our offers and for customer management, invoicing and accounting.
How long do we keep your information?
We store your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill its purpose treated for. If you sign up for one of our newsletters or emails with a trip notification from us your data is deleted from our customer base.
Do we share your personal information with others?
We only share personal information with local partners and our own guides perform the tour or event you have booked. We do not share the information with anyone other third parties, with the exception of these:
• Our accountant
If you purchased a service from us (trip, event) any of your data (name, e-mail address, address) must be stored with an accountant who has a duty (cf. the Accounting Act) to store data for a certain period of time, then that data will be deleted. Personal data that is not subject to storage will be deleted within 1 month.
• Our booking system
When you book a tour with us, our booking system provider will record it needs (name, email address, nationality) in order for us to provide the service to you ordering.
You have the right to access, rectification and deletion
You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you. You have the right to demand that we correct the personal information we may have about you and that we only store the data that is necessary to fulfill the purpose for which we obtained the information. If we have personal information about you, then you have the right to claim it deleted as long as it is not one legal requirement (eg accounting and accounting) regarding storage.
