Jakobsbakken is ideally situated on the northern lights oval, the area where it is most likely to experience the northern lights. From 1. September to 1. April there are great opportunities to see the northern lights, because of minimal light pollution. We will show you to areas without light pollution to chase for the northern lights. Here you can experience a majestic coloring game that dances in heaven.
Our experienced guide will tell you about the physics of the Northern Lights and why it only occurs near the Polar regions. You will also hear ancient legends and stories from the North about the Northern Lights. We will help you with your camera, so you and your friends get the best photos of the world’s most beautiful natural phenomenon.
