Review – Niklas Dyrhaug

Jakobsbakken Mountain Resort is an amazing place. In the middle of the mountain world lies this special village with its noteworthy history from the mining communities of the 18th and 1900s. The house and apartments are newly refurbished and of a very high standard and they serve incredibly delicious local food. While enjoying the meals from the living room you have a tremendous view and are able to look straight at the mighty Suliskongen (1907 masl). I have been here both winter and spring and have greatly enjoyed both occasions. Jakobsbakken Mountain Resort is the place to visit if you want to find calm in a hectic everyday life with its magnificent scenery, history and wonderful local produce. Highly recommended!
