At Jakobsbakken...

you can spend the night in one of Northern Norway’s most extraordinary lodges, with 100 sqm apartments in addition to a sauna, gym, and private chef. Here you are surrounded by everything from rolling hills and mighty mountain peaks, to ancient forests and tundra-like heaths, and from green-white glacier meltwater to crystal clear rivers.

Just outside the door of the lodge is cross country skiing trails, which Olympic champion Bjørn Dæhlie stated as the most breathtaking cross country skiing trail he has ever skied.

Titanic Coming soon

We are rebuilding the former barrack from 1912 to become a modern mountain lodge. Here comes accommodation, meeting room and café. The house was built in 1912, the same year as the famous Titanic ship sank in the Atlantic Ocean on its way from the UK to New York - hence the name Titanic.
